INQUEST INTO DEATH OF YOUNG WOMAN
An inquest into the death of Thelma Agnes Bedford, aged 19, who died after a co?":ion with a motor-car early on Wednesday morning,, was opened before. Mr E. C. Lewey, coroner, yesterday afternoon. After evidence of identification had been given the inquest was adjourned sine die to enable enquiries to be made. , , _
“Wayfarer’s dole,” which has been dispensed for 800 years by St. Cross Hospital of Winchester; England, has been reduced from a substantial meal to free bread and beer, and the total daily quantities of these have been limited to two loaves of bread and two gallons of beer.
