SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS
At the recent fancy dress skating carnival held at the De Luxe Rink, Kilmore street, the championship trophies competed for during the season were presented by Mr R. T. Tosswill, who complimented the winners on their splendid displays. The full list of championship winners is as under:—Graceful skating championship, Miss G. Hahn and Mr Cox; tWostep championship, Miss M. Tonge and Mr Fairweather; waltzing championship, Miss R. Collins and Mr JB. Rainbow; ladles’ graceful skating, championship, Miss R. Collins: gentlemen’s open solo Skating championship, Mt C. Cliff; one-mile championship, Mr S. Pendrigh; one-mile open championship, Mr T. Owen.
