* RESULT OF POSTAL BALLOT A feirly heavy poll resulted from the postal ballot for, the election of members to represent the Mid-Canterbury and South Canterbury districts on the electoral committee of United Wheat Growers (New Zealand), Limited. The result of the poll was announced yesterday by the returning, officer (Mr RMcPherson). Eight districts are represented. on the committee, but in six of them the nominations were the same as; the number of vacancies. Those elected at the,poll were;— .
