An old-age pensioner, John Harrison, aged 65, was found yesterday 1 morning lying dead on his bed in a bach which he occupied in Eruera street. The discovery was made by a neighbour. who, noticing that Harrison had not been about since Tuesday, made investigations, and looking through a window saw the bedy lying on the bed. Harrison was holding a newspaper of Tuesday’s date in his hand, and had apparently died while reading it. Dr. Dorset, who was summoned, stated that death was due to heart failure.
