BRITISH ATHLETES’ COMPLAINT
OLYMPIC ARRANGEMENTS
LONDON, August 19,
Eight members of the British Olympic team have sent a letter to the Amateur Athletic Association along the lines of the previous protest. They also say that the massage arrangements were inadequate. The letter will be, considered by the committee.
[A message cn August 17 stated that several leading athletes had signed a letter of protest against the Olympic Games arrangements which they were sending to, the Amateur Athletic Association. The letter complained, first, that the team arrived at Berlin too late to give competitors a fair chance; second, that no coach was appointed experienced in athletics under modern conditions, and therefore _ athletes wera driven to seek advice from coaches of other nations; and third, that the organisation of transport and food was inadequate.!
