HOLIDAY PROGRAMME FOR BOYS

A programme of events for the school holidays has been arranged for members of the Boys’ Gordon Hall by the Young Men’s Christian Association. It will be carried out from Monday to Friday'next week, and from Monday to Friday in the following week. The programme will open on Monday morning with a city v. suburban Rugby match, and the secondary clubs’ annual Rugby and Association tournament, and the rest of the week will be devoted to visits to various factories and centres of interest, except on Friday, when cycle and tramping outings have been arranged. The visits during the fortnight will include the central fire station, the railway workshops, the city abattoirs, the gas works, and the Wigram aerodrome. Picnics to the Pines and Kairaki beaches have been arranged for Friday week. On Monday week there will be the annual primary clubs’ Rugby and Association tournament.
