KATHLEEN GARVEN RECITAL
There is •no music like the human voice, especially when the possessor has quality, a: charming personality, and can enter into the life-like stories portrayed in the delightful sohgs Miss Garven sings. The. programme for Thursday at the Caledonian Hall is well chosen and varied:— Operatic arias, songs by Schumann, Brahms, Wolf, Kreisler’s “Cradle Song,” the old refrain, “Home, Sweet Home," and many favourites. Several young performers will make their first appearance who certainly show promise The booking is at Webley’s, High street.
