Bank of Australasia had business at £ll 16s. Bank of New Zealand were fractionally weaker with sellers ana business at 39s lid. Sellers of Commercial Bank of Australia, preference, reduced their hmits to £9 3s, buyers at £9 Is. Union Bank of Australia were dealt in at £9 9s. National Insurance were easier, witn business at 18s 3d, and further sellers at 18s sd. Unsupported sellers of Standard Insurance reduced their limits to 62s 6d. Goldsbrough, Morts were firmer on buyers offers 3is in. New Zealand Refrigerating, 10s paid, were steady, with sellers and business at 9s 9d, buyers at 9s &d. Dominion Breweries changed hanas at 29s 6d, and Dunedin Brewery at 30s. New Zealand Breweries were firmer on buyers’ offers 52s 3d. Miscellaneous Anthony Hordern advanced to 18s 9d and 18s lOd. and there were further buyers at the higher price, sellers at 18s lid. Beath and Company were fractionally weaker at 24s sd. Broken Hill Proprietary advanced to 735, market closing 72s lid buyers, 73s 3d sellers_the contributing were firmer on buyers’ offers 535. Consolidated Brick were firm bt 9s lOd. Dominion Fertilizers had dealings at 25s 5d and 25s 6d, closing quotations 25s 4d buyers, 25s 9d sellers. Dunlop Perdriau Rubbers were steady at 18s 2d, market closing l<i either way. Electrolytic Zinc, ordinary, were firmer, with sellers ana business at 41s 6d—the preference rose to 42s 7d, buyers staying in at that figure, sellers at 43s Bd. G. J. Coles relapsed to dealings at 80s and 795. Kauri Timber- were firm at 24s 9d., closing quotations Id on either side. Morts Dock, cum dividend, were fractionally firmer at 11s sd. Wilcox Mofflin advanced to 13s Id, and more were wanted at 12s lOd, sellers at 13s 6d. Mining Argo Gold showed little variation, with business at Is B£d. Skippers were firm, with buyers and business at 3jd. Mount Lyells rose sharply to dealings at prices ranging from 29s 7d to 30s, market closing 29s lid buyers, 30s sellers. Mount Morgans were firm, with sellers and business at 14s. Unlisted Stocks Woolworths (Sydney), ordinary, changed hands at £5 15s, £5 15s 6d, and £5 16s, buyers staying in at the highest price, sellers at £5 10s 6d.
