DAIRY FACTORY MANAGERS
ANNUAL MEETING
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) PALMERSTON N., June 18. The annual report of the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Association, presented at the annual meeting to-day, stated that the year had bristled with difficulties for those whose constant concern was the quality of the manufactured article. The chairman, Mr P. C. H. Petersen (Cambridge) said there would be a change in the manner of marketing the Dominion’s produce, but it was the job of the managers-to make the highest quality product possible. He was sure they would continue with that aim.
The following were elected to three vacancies on the executive: Mr W. Taylor (Stratford), Mr W. Hollis (Hinuera), and Mr J. J Henry (Don* edln). The principal subject of discussion was a motion that graders should not know whose butter they were grading. Several members referred to the difficulties of carrying such a principle into operation.
