NAZI INFLUENCE IN AFRICA

MODERATE GERMANS COERCED

(Received June 16, 1.30 a.m.)

LONDON, June 15

The Johannesburg correspondent of the “Morning Post” says the Nazi menace in South-west Africa is becoming more and more insistent. Trade between the German and South African sections of the population is almost at a standstill.

Moderate Germans are coerced by Nazi agents, who threaten them with punishment, even death, when the colonies revert to Germany, which they declare is inevitable. The system of spying is so perfect that every movement of the moderates is reported.
