GOVERNMENT GRANT OF £SO "From Our' Parliamentary Reporter.* WELLINGTON, June 12. Mr T. H. McCombs, member of Parliament for Lyttelton, has been advised that the Education Department has decided to grant £SO towards the cost of putting in order the grounds of the new District High School at Akaroa. Mr D. Barnes, member of Parliament for Waitaki, has been advised that the postal facilities at Albury, in his electorate* will be considerably extended by the department. Better accommodation will be provided, and all the usual postal services will be made available. The new office will open on June 27.
