JEWISH SETTLEMENT ATTACKED
TWO-HOUR BATTLE IN PALESTINE (Received June 11, 8.30 pjru) JERUSALEM, June 10. Another battalion of British troops, bringing the strength up to eight, has arrived in Palestine. Bluejackets arc guarding the trains. The first determined Arab, at-' tack on Jewish settlements occurred near Armageddon. The firing lasted for two hours. The Arabs fled when British reinforcements arrived.
