NO DOMINION VISIT THIS YEAR

NEW SOUTH WALES STATE ORCHESTRA The proposed visit to New Zealand of the New South Wales State Conservatorium Orchestra has been abandoned for this year. Mr H. Gladstone Hill has received advice from the Minister for Education (the Hon. P. Fraser) that because of the broadcasting being in a state of flux, it would be impossible to entertain the suggestion. The Minister hoped, nowever, that the proposed visit would be postponed for only a year, and later he would be pleased to give all the assistance in his power.
