DEALINGS COMPLETED

Banking Bank of Australia declined to £ll 14s and £ll 13s. National Bank of Australasia, £5 paid, were firm with sellers and dealings at £7 ss. Bank of New Zealand, cum dividend, relapsed to 45s 3d, sellers staying in at that figure, buyers at 455. National Insurance were fractionally firmer at 18s 2d, market closing Id either way. Buyers of New Zealand Insurance raised their bids to 63s 3d without attracting sellers. New Zealand Guarantee Corporation were steady at 5s 6d. closing quotations Id on either side. New Zealand Refrigerating, 10s paid, were fractionally firmer at 9s 8d and 9s 9d, market closing 9s 7d buyers, 9s 8d sellers —the iully paid were firmer on buyers’ offers 19s 9d. Wellington Woollens changed hands at £6 ss. New Zealand Breweries, cum dividend, had dealings at 54s Id and 545, and more were offered at 54s Id, buyers at 53s lid. ‘Tooths Brewery shares had business at 525, market closing Id either way. Australian Glass, cum dividend, were fi.'ner with buyers and business at 92s 6d.

Miscellaneous Broken Hill Proprietary rose sharply to dealings at prices ranging from 73s 3d to 72s lid, market closing 72s 11J. buyers, 73s sellers—the contributing gained 4s at 50s 4d, 50s sd, and 50s 6d, and closed firm. British Tobaccos were firmer on buyers’ offers 40s lOd. Electrolytic Zinc, ordinary, had business at 37s 4d. G. J. Coles were fractionally firmer at 79s 9d. BROKEN HILL RISE AGAIN MOST SECTIONS ACTIVE ft Broken Hill shares were again actively in request on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday, and values showed a further rise. Selfridges had an excellent turnover also, and Mount Morgan received attention. The market was busy all over, and turnover was good, though prices were inclined to be erratic.
