Nominations received for stewards of the Methven Trotting Club are as follows:—Messrs J. Campbell, C. Goodwin, R. B. Hart, A. E. Henderson, S. M. Jackman, G. Kelly, S. G. Lemon, J. Mauger, R. D. Millar, F. S. McDonald, J. McAnulty, J. H. McKendry, J. McCloy, L. L. Richards, R. W. Smith, and J. Wotton. As only 14 are required, a ballot will be necessary. Only one nomination for president and treasurer has been received, and Messrs S. G. Holmes and H. Green have been duly elected respectively. For the two vicepresidents’ positions, Messrs T. S. Harrison, H. Green, and J. McAnulty have been nominated, and an election will be necessary.

VICTORIA RACING CLUB

DATES REARRANGED (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) MELBOURNE, June 9. The Victoria Racing Cilub has reorganised its racing days, and has granted the Bendigo and Geelong clubs Saturday racing rates free of opposition in the metropolitan area, which means that the Melbourne racing public, on two Saturdays in the year, will require to travel to those centres if it insists on attending race meetings.
