CAT SECTION JUDGED FINE SPECIMEN WINS THE CUP The judging of the cat classes in the Christchurch Poultry, Pigeon, Canary, and Cat Club’s sixty-ninth show, which was held in the King Edward Barracks in Cashel street, was the main feature of the last day of the show on Saturday. The judge of the cats, Mr J. D. Gobbe, said that the best cat in the show, exhibited by Mrs R. Burrowes, was a spendid specimen. The entries were' quite as numerous as those of last year. Much public interest in the birds and the animals was shown on Saturday and in the evening, the attendance being larger than during the previous two days. MacKie. The club reported that the entry , was a record one, comprising 43 Rhode Island Reds, 69 Orpingtons, and 24 Australorps, a total of 136.
