HONORARY RANK FOR LORD SWINTON
(mirnsn official wirelbh.s.) RUGBY. May 25. The King has approved the appointment of Lord Swinton (Secretary for Air) as honorary air commodore of No. 608 (North Riding) bomber squadron of the auxiliary force. Three former Secretaries for Air have been appointed to similar rank in the auxiliary air formations in the localities with which they were connected.
