+ GOOD RECEPTION ON MOUNT EVEREST (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, May 23. The British Broadcasting Corporation has received a telegram from Lieutenant W. N. Smith, wireless signals officer with the expedition which is at present making an assault on Mount Everest. He states thdt in No. 3 Camp, at a height of 21,500 feet, there has been good regular reception of the - Empire programmes on short waves.
