STUDENTS’ SUCCESS IN SPORT

CONGRATULATIONS BY COLLEGE COUNCIL

The achievement of the Canterbury University College team in winning the university tournament by a very wide margin this year was praised by the chairman (Mr C. T. Aschman) when speaking at yesterday’s meeting of the College Council. The meeting added its congratulations to a letter of congratulation already sent to the president of the Students’ Association.

The council also decided to congratulate the college football club on the success of its golden jubilee celebrations and to send a letter of congratulation to the club president.
