TRAPSHOOTING
CHRISTCHURCH GUN CLUB The weather was Ideal for trap-shooting on Saturday, when the Christchurch Gun Club held a aeries of clay-bird sweepstakes on its ground at Sockbum. Fifteen shooters took part in the afternoon’s programme. Mr J. Simpson was referee. The first sweepstake was six birds off handicap marks. The following shot the possible;— E. (11) 121112 « The second match, lor prizes of £4 4s, in which 14 shooters participated, resulted in eight scoring the possible and dividing the prize money. The following are the best scores:—
