FLOWERS FOR GRAVE
PARCEL DROPPED FROM HINDENEURG LONDON. May 22. As the German airship Hindenburg passed over Keighley on its way home from America a parcel was dropped. It contained a spray of carnations, a picture of the airship, souvenir stamps, and a letter asking the finder to place the flowers on the grave of the writer’s brother, a German war prisoner, who was buried nearby. The writer described himself as “the first flying priest.”
