BUILDING PERMITS FOR

APRIL

IMPROVEMENT IN CENTRAL AREA

An increase of nearly £23,000 in the value of building permits issued by the Christchurch City Council during last month is shown by comparison with the figures for the corresponding month of last year. There has also been a sharp increase in the number of permits. Last month 125 permits wer<j issued to a value of £50,048. In April of last year 82 permits were issued to a value of £27,138.
