FLIGHT TO JAVA
PLANS OF TASMAN FLYER
(Received May 5, 11 p.m.)
SYDNEY, May 5,
The airman, Mr W. M. O'Hara, who flew the Tasman solo, arrived by the Monowai with his monoplane. He told interviewers that he anticipated that the authorities here would recognise his right to fly to Java in the particular machine in which he crossed the Tasman. He possesses a New Zealand license, which, he contends, has international recognition.
