The Christchurch North branch of the Labour party's study circle met en Monday evening, Mr T. S. Shankland presiding. Mr R. M. Macfarlane explained the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill as introduced by the Minister for Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong. An interesting discussion followed. Mr Macfarlane answered several questions, after which he was accorded a vote of thanks.
