Has the Canterbury WW** ling Association gone to sleep fig A* winter, as it is now five weeks snw we had our one and only boot OOP centres seem to have more eatapn* as Auckland and Wellington are m for their sixth and fifth boats resp«tively, while Dunedin had its Ham* night. These places have cage* houses; but it is not so in Christen** The reason Christchurch will never IP packed houses is the referees i* ing on elbow jolts. This is the*® place in New Zealand, where wteswp are cautioned for using them. !**■ jolts are perfectly legitimate and nag the local referee allows tactics «•» are allowed elsewhere, we will ajwr have tame bouts and poor aUenaane& It seems as if the referees «».<«» places in New Zealand know their J» This is not so locally. What is the «* son? If the Canterbury Assoaaa* will show a little of the enterprae of other associations, we will soon w»* another match arranged.
