♦ Three sessions will be held to-day at the De Luxe Skating Rink, Kilmore street, as follows:—Morning, 10 to 12 (children 6d); afternoon, 2.30 to 4.30; evening, 7.30 to 10.30. A big skating programme will be presented at the evening session, with special novelties and prizes, including the introduction for the first time in Christchurch of the newest skating number “Statue Partners.” A competent staff of instructors is in attendance at all sessions from 10.30 a.m. daily, and every learner is guaranteed personal attention. Skatmg is the most popular of all indoor pastimes, and large attendances are said to be recorded at the De Luxe Rink, which is said to be the most modern and artistic rink in the whole of New Zealand and Australia.
