CONTROL OF MENTAL HOSPITALS
The control of mental hospitals by public boards, in the same way as the public hospitals are controlled, is suggested in a resolution passed at a meeting of the North Canterbury branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. The resolution reads as follows;—-“ That the Government be informed that, in. the opinion of the North Canterbury District Executive of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, the control of mental hospitals should be vested in public boards as in the case of the public hospitals in the Dominion,”...
