TIMARU ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY
Proposals for the coming season of the Timaru Orchestral Society were considered at a meeting of the committee of the society, when it was decided to hold the annual general meeting in the Automobile Association rooms on Tuesday. The president, Mr G. H. Andrews, presiued. The secretary reported that it was hoped to arrange a representative meeting of subscribers, and members and friends of the orchestra, so that a strong committee might be appointed for the year’s work. It was intended shortly to begin a campaign for new subscribers.
