Little White Marks on our Fingernails
Little white marks sometimes appear en our fingernails when our blood is so ~oor tliat it prevents the nail cells from working properly. They come often after an illness, or if the blood is not very healthy. Washing Molly Grime
In the church of Glentham, Lincolnshire, there is a tomb with a figure, popularly called "Moll/ Grime." Every Good Friday thi* figure was washed with water from the Newell WelU by seven : elderly unmarried women of Glentham who received a shilling each, for her trouble. In 1832 the custom was discontinued. '
