EASTER FISHING

It was incorrectly reported in yesterday's issue of "The Press" that Mr L. F. Tisdall had said that "the spawning season appeared to be late, and patches of fry could still be seen floating down many of the rivers."

What Mr Tisdall said was that the season was late, and hatches of fly were still taking place and floating dovm stream.

The trout were still plentiiul in many districts, continued Mr Tisdall. and some good catches had been reported during the week-end. Salmon, however, had been very scarce.
