CYCLIST'S DEATH
ACCIDENT ON EVANS PASS ROAD MACHINE THOUGHT TO HAVE, BEEN OUT OP CONTROL Cyril Cook, aged 22, of 262 Wilson's; road, Opawa, died in the Christchurch C Public Hospital last evening, after re- v ceiving serious Injuries in a cycling accident on Evans Pass Toad yesterday afternoon. It is surmised that Be Was, ' thrown heavily when his cycle got out t of control as he was riding down a * steep slope over the hill fromLyttelton 1 towards Sumner. Bakewcllf ol SUroner, he was taken to the hospital in a. St. John ambulance, being 5 o’clock. He was suffering
