LABOUR LEADER OPPOSES STAFF CONSULTATIONS

RUGBY, March 27. During the debate on foreign affairs in the House of Commons the leader of the Labour Opposition (Major C. R. Attlee) advocated foL lowing a straight league policy.
Major Attlee said that hg hoped that the projected World Conference would deal with the main economic problem of closed markets. He described as ridiculous the proposal to bring in Italy as a policeman, and said that he was disturbed by the proposed staff consultations, which were not general among all the members of a collective system.
