APPOINTMENTS BY GOVERNMENT

CABINET CONSIDERATION ON TUESDAY , v

MANY NAMES MENTIONED [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, March 29. A Cabinet meeting will be held on Tuesday to discuss questions of policy and also several appointments which have been under consideration for some time. These are two Public Service commissioners, an administrator for Western Samoa, and two representatives of the State on the directorate of the Bank of New Zealand. In addition, the appointment of a chairman of the New Zealand Broadcasting Board and a new Commissioner of Police await conclusive consideration. So many names have been mentioned for the various posts that the list would read like a -page from a directory. It appears that the surest w'ay of being right is to wait and see.
