LABOUR REPRESENTATION COMMITTEE
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The annual meeting of the North Canterbury Labour Representation Committee at the Trades Hall , drew a record attendance, and each office was closely contested. For the executive there were 16 nominations. Following were the results of the election:—President, Mr John Roberts; vice-president, Mr E. Parlane; secre-tary-treasurer, Mr R. M. Macfarlane; executive, Messrs Barnett, R. A. Brookes, H. McCaw,'J. Mathison, Miss M. B. Howard; trustees, Messrs G. T. Thurston and A. Tongue; auditors, Messrs E. Parlane and E.
