The Shower Ceases
A slow, monotonous drizzle had at last ceased. Through a narrow opening between clouds the sun was gallantly attempting to smile down upon the dripping earth. Suddenly the sun shone through. It made diamonds of the dewdrops, and spangled the cobwebs. The birds in the trees began to sing, and a rainbow —queen of the heavens —appeared in the sky. —’MATE TEAROA, M.P.S.P. Hororata.

Next Week Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. No visiting to-day. Lady Gay and Mother Bunch will both be very busy. Next Saturday as usual. Is that quite clear, everyone?
