WELLINGTON, March 26.

The University of New Zealand announces that at a recent meeting of the results. committee the following awards were made:— Post-graduate Scholarships in C M. P. Brown, B.A. (Victoria University College) and H. W. Wilson, M.Sc. (University of Otago). 1851 Exhibition Scholarship in Science —T. E. Coop, B.Sc. (Canterbury University College). A post-graduate scholarship in science was awarded to C. O. Hutton, M.Sc. (University of Otago), but as he was subsequently awarded the Shirtcliffe Fellowship the post-graduate scholarship in science was awarded to G, T. S, Baylis, B.Sc. (Auckland University College). „ , . . Carnegie Education Fellowships—A. B Thompson, M.A. (Auckland University College), R. Winterboum, M.A. (Canterbury University College). Michael Hiatt Baker Scholarship— F R. Meldrum, M.Sc. (University of Otago), and A. Ross, M.A. (University of Otago), recommended to the vicechancellor of the University of Bristol in that order. ■ . ' * Travelling Scholarship in Law—A. M. Finlay, LL.B. (University of Otago). Travelling Scholarship in Engineering—h. D.
