GUILTY OF MURDER
DOCTOR’S TRIAL ENDS LONDON, March 13. Dr. Buck Ruxton, a French-In-dian Mohammedian doctor, was found guilty of the murder of his wife. He was sentenced to death. The jury was absent for 62 minutes. Ruxton, when the verdict was announced, almost inaudibly spoke of the fairness of the trial, but announced his intention of appealing. He raised his arm from the elbow in the form of a salute, repeating the gesture as four warders escorted him from the. dock. [Ruxton was charged originally with the murder of his wife’s maid, Mary Jane Rogerson, aged 20, covery on September 29, in the Monet Ravine, Gardenholme, Dumfriesshire, of two dismembered bodies wrapped m newspaper parcels.
