STUDENTS' ANNUAL MEETING

REPORT AND BALANCESHEET PRESENTED The annual general meeting of the Canterbury University College Students' Association was held in the college gymnasium last evening. The meeting proceeded with rather ' more order than is usual in students' gatherings, the only interruptions being caused by the application of a hose to the platform, and by intermittent fireI works. .- Extracts from the annual report included an official appreciation of the work done by Miss C. An increased income of approximately £IOO was shown in the bal-ance-sheet for the year ending March 13, 1936. Details stated the gross receipts at £949, £942 being from students' subscriptions.
