LONDON SHIPPING
During the v/eek ended January 24, 967 vessels, representing 948,684 net register tons, used the port of London. Of these 450 vessels (711,541 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports, and 517 vessels (237,143 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included six meat cargoes —two from Australia, three from New Zealand, and one from South America, comprising 321,000 carcases of lamb and mutton, 63,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbit 3, and sundries.
