PRICE OF WOOLLEN CLOTHING

TO THE EDITOR OI THE PRESS. Sir,—A correspondent in Wednesday's issue states that owing to the increase of about 3d in the price of wool, the tailors have raised the price of suits £l. While I do not know of any firm who has increased the price of suits to that extent, I do know that , a local warehouse has raised the price of suitings from Is to 3s a yard. I do riot think such an increase is.warranted, but the tailors have no option but to pay, and as the price of suits is so keen to-day, they are compelled to pass on the extra cost.—Yours, etc., hit u „ , nn * TAILOR. March 13, 1936.
