Crocker (Oamaru) as groomsman. , , After the ceremony the guests were received at “Rockanui” by Mr and Mrs Chapman, the latter wearing a navy blue ensemble and a navy hat with white trimmings. For travelling, the bride wore a brown ensemble with a hat to match, REYNOLDS—LOCKWOOD The evening wedding was celebrated recently at the Union Methodist Church, Addington, of Manu, third daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Lockwood, Antigua street, to Keetley, elder son of Mr and Mrs J. R- Reynolds, Papanui. The Rev. A. Leversedge, of Oxford, assisted by the Rev. C. B. Jordan, performed the ceremony, Mr K. K. Lockwood (brother of the bride) was organist. After the ceremony Miss Ruth Morrison sang a solo. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of pearl satin made in long lines, with -a peacock train, bolster sleeves, and medici collar. Her veil, worn over the face, feu in soft folds from a cap of point lace, finished with orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of lilies. She was attended by three bridesmaids—Miss J. Lockwood (sister of the bride). Miss M. Raven, and Miss la. Tieynpias (sister. o£ the Prtdegroom). The wore frocks of casement blue moire taffeta, made with full skirts, with quilted hems and full puffed’ sleeves. Mrs Lockwood, assisted by Mrs Reynolds, received the guests at the wedding reception held at the Winter Garden. Mrs Lockwood wore a navy blue georgette ensemble and a blue felt hat trimmed with a blue and white feather mount She carried a bouquet of begonias and lilies in deep shades of pink, Mrs Reynolds wore a navy silk coat over a floral frock and a navy hat trimmed with a multi-col-oured quill. She carried a bouquet of red begonias and gladioli. When Mr and Mrs Reynolds left by car for the Marlborough Sounds the bride was wearing a military suit of green boucle tweed and a brown blouse and accessories. •
