LUNCHEON PARTY
Members of the Pigeon Bay branch of the "Women’s Division of thei Farmers’ Union entertained members of neighbouring branches of the union at a luncheon party. Motukarara and Chorlton-Little Akaloa branches were represented The visitors were welcomed by the president (Mrs H. Blomquist), and after, lunch, Mrs H. A. Nutt and Mrs Coop spoke of the division’s work.. Mrs E. H. Waghorn. of the Chorlton-Little , Akaloa branch, also.spoke. ,
During the afternoon, Mrs Coop gave an Interesting demonstration of weaving with a hand loom. A hearty vote of thsnka was passed to Mrs Coop, -
