Another total of 170, from the Avonside Girls’ High School went to Corsair Bay. _ „ In South Canterbury 32 raihray* carriages were needed to take the huge numberattending a, picnic, at Timaru, the train coming from Waimafe. and there were also two Sunday school picnics. On the West Coast, the Greymouth combined trades nunc was held at Te Kinga, and the Brunner miners went to Hokitika.
