PROPOSED MEETING NOT HELD INTERFERENCE BY BOARD I MEMBERS ALLEGED (SPECIAL to the press.) GREYMOUTH, February 25. The proposed meeting of the Grey Hospital Board this evening to deal with the reasons for the resignations of six of the eight sisters of the nursing staff, who had given a month’s notice on Saturday last, was not held. The sisters, in reply to the secretary of the board’s communication, advised that they had said that they would not come before the board and state their reasons, and that they would still adhere to that decision. Further. they said that the resignations wbre owing to various board members interfering with the administration of the hospital.
