Miscellaneous Broken Hill Proprietary were firmer on buyers’ offers 61s; the contributing advanced to 31s sd, and more were wanted at 31s 4d. Colonial Sugar were steady with buyers and business at £43. Dominion Builders’ Supplies had business at 5s 6d. DunlopPerdriau Rubbers moved up to 15s 6d, sellers staying in at that price, buyers at 15s sd. G. J. Coles were firmer on buyers’ offers 73s sd. BRITISH MARKETS STEADY LONDON, February 24, The stock markets are steady. The week has opened quietly with business on a smaller scale than of late. French 4 per cent, and German 7 per cent, loans were weaker, and British funds maintained their levels with War Loan, BJ per cent, at £lO7 6s 3d.
