LODGE MEETINGS

The Chief Ranger (Bro. L. Sneddon) presided at< the last meeting of Court Papanui, A.0.F., over a good attendance of officers and members. It was decided to send a remit to district meeting that an ode be included in the installation ceremony. One new member was initiated and one candidate was proposed for initiation. After the meeting an interesting talk was given by Mr E. Collins on "Submarines." Court Thistle of the Forest The Chief Ranger, Bro. Harris, presided on the occasion of the district officers' visit to the Court Thistle of the Forest, No. 6494, A.O.F. They were welcomed with the "Foresters' Fire," led by the Sub-Chief Ranger (Bro. Mapplebeck). Bro. Brown, D.C.R., thanked the court for their welcome and other members of the district executive also spoke. Members of the district present were:—Bro. Brown, D.C.R., Bro. McArthur, D.W., Bro. Donald, D. 8., Bro. Jacobson. D.S., Bro. Wathew.
