MR HUGHES REGAINS PORTFOLIOS

MINISTER FOR REPATRIATION AND HEALTH (Received February 22, 12.43 a.m.) CANBERRA, February 21. Mr W. M. Hughes will be sworn in next week as Minister for Health and he will be in charge of the two i departments, Repatriation and Health, which he administered before his resignation from the Cabinet last year. 1 The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. i Lyons), who announced his decision to reappoint Mr Hughes to his f or- ' mer posts, said that he (Mr Lyons) would continue to hold the position of Vice-President of the Executive Council, which he had assumed on the resignation of Mr Hughes, who formerly had held that position as well as his portfolios.
