BRITISH WARSHIP TO THE RESCUE

S.o.s. MESSAGES RECEIVED

(Received February LONDON, February 14. The Admiralty stated early this' morning that the aircraft carrier Furious is travelling at full speed from the Canary Islands to the rescue of an at present unidentified air liner, carrying 30 passengers, reported to have dived into the: sea off Punta Delagada. The Furious was at Teneriffe when she picked up S.O.S. messages from the doomed aeroplane jjist before it crashed.
