POULTRY PRODUCERS MEET AT BURWOOD
• Mr J. Liggins presided over the monthly meeting of the Burwood branch of the New Zealand Poultry Producers' Federation, held in the Parish Hall.
The chairman welcomed Mr J. McGlinchy, secretary of the Hornby branch, and the Christchurch District Council, Mr J. D. Gobbe, Mr Dalziel, and Mr W. Turner, president of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club. * • The New Zealand Utility Poultry Club wrote inviting, members. of the branch to attend a flag 500 and social evening. .. ' After the business of the meeting an interesting lecture on the organisation of the poultry .industry was given by Mr S. Dick. Several questions were answered by Mr Dick.
