The following is the Dominion Observatory's special weather forecast for'.Canterbury:— Light to moderate and variable " winds. Weather mainly.fair, not cloudy at times, on the coast, with some morning fogs and possibly light drizzle. Seas smooth to moderate. The following is the Dominion report:— Weather clondy on parts of the east coast, with morning fog and possibly light drizzle in places, bat otherwise fair to fine and warm. An anti-cyclone of moderate intensity is moving on to New Zealand. Winds—Light to moderate and variable south-easterlies prevailing over the northern half of the North Island and westerlies in the far south. Seas (New Zealand waters;— Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate arid variable winds, and smooth to moderate seas. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER .The weather was fine and 'fairly warm , m the citv yesterday.
